Fun, be careful
You need to have glue, one stick was broken, but able to fix. Ended up a very cute project. Would not give this to under 8 to work on alone.

great looking product
I haven't put these together yet, since I bought them after Halloween, and plan on saving them for the next. I did however open one up to check it out, and was pleased w/the quality, and the fact that everything is self-adhered! I hate it when the kids have to wait for the glue to dry, takes away from some of the enjoyment. So very much looking forward w/doing this project next Halloween w/all the kiddos! OH! And the spiders couldn't look any cuter!

Perfect!
These were better then expected! They were perfect as they came with "glue dots" already on the spiders. The kids could just stick them together with no glue! Great value for the price.

Difficult for many 9 year olds
I bought this craft for my daughter's 4th grade class Halloween party, and it was a lot more difficult for the 9 year olds than I thought it would be. The kids had trouble keeping the popsicle sticks stable while weaving the string around the first time or two. They also had a tough time gluing the legs and eyes onto the spider bodies. Lastly, they couldn't tie the string off by themselves to make the hanger. It is a fun craft if you have a lot of adults there to help the kids (or maybe for slightly older kids), but very frustrating to these 9 year olds with minimal help.

Cute idea but better kids a little older.
We used these for girl scout Daisies. (K & 1st grade) The girls had a hard time with them. I think if the girls were a couple years older it would have worked great. They are really cute but be prepared to have glue dots on hand. The spiders use plenty since you have 8 legs, body, and eyes to put on.

Not quality
Pipe cleaner legs do not stick to bodies of spiders. Tried glue and paste. Don't want little kids playing with glue gun. Eyes are cute. Webs were cute. But you need a spider to make it complete.

not easy for little ones
I purchased this for something to do with the kids one afternoon. The stringing part is easy, but putting the legs on the spider was a challenge. Needed adult assistance to do this. I could not imagine doing this with with a class all at one time.

Cute but Tricky
We used this craft for a Halloween Party for Second grade children. They all enjoyed it, but needed moderate to maximum support to complete the project. The stickers on the back of the spiders did not work properly and it also required glue to make the spiders stick to the web.

9-10 year olds enjoyed making these and were proud of them!
This craft took 20-30 minutes for 4th grade students to finish. More capable "craftsy" students helped the others. Enough of a challenge that they were actually proud of their finished crafts.
Didn't give a perfect score because about 4 spiders had only one eye. The packages of extra parts did not include extra spiders. If we had not had several extra unused kits, there would have been upset students (and an embarrassed teacher.)
Several spiders did not have the sticky tape on them. The students were able to glue the spiders on to the web if there was no sticky tape.

Great 3rd grade+ Halloween craft!
I made these with my daughter's 3rd grade class for her Halloween party and they were great! I wouldn't recommend doing it with a younger class, but these were perfect for them. The quality was great, the sticks didn't need extra glue. The spiders did need some extra help and the students would wind their legs on the yarn and sometimes use extra glue stick.) They felt proud of themselves when they finished and they are so cute to hang up in their houses. They needed help to get started, but they were able to do most of it on their own.
