It worked for us!
I made these with a pre-school group this morning & they worked well.. however, NOT so good for that young :) I had to do most of it as they held to dry... the reason these got a lower review from me is because I the pics show really nice & bright colors, however the colors are more dull & drab-- even MY PHOTO is much brighter & prettier than the real thing (flash does it) ALSO, the instructions/photo were NOT clear at all,. but they went together well after I went online to see exactly how to do it :)

Needs Improvement
This has the potential to be a good product, however, it needs improvement. The paper is thin, the directions aren't clear, and the amount of glue it takes to finish it makes it hard to complete. I suggest using scrapbooking or papercrafting glue dots, and they need to make the paper better. Stapling the paper together is too hard.

this craft did not work like it was said that it would I used it for a group of 4 - 6 graders and it didn't come out at all like the one pictured. would not recomend.

Looks better in the picture...
I saw this in the catalog and thought to myself that it looked like it was something I would be able to do on my own - I am very good with paper crafts and actually only bought the kit for the directions and as practice for ones that I would make on my own.
I would not recommend this kit to anyone - the paper that comes in it is not much thicker than standard paper, so when you glue the pieces together, the glue makes the paper wrinkle and look horrible. The ribbons that they include to hang the ornament with are fine, but the ones to make the bows are much to short to make anything even close to a decent bow.
