cool project
these worked very well. make sure you tap them frequently to settle the sand or you will end up with extra space and your sand will mix. we also glued the tops on just in case

Right price, great choice
This is an easy project to do for all ages! It is small enough to keep within budget for any kind of group. The only problem is that Oriental Trading sand comes in bulk, which is WAY more than you would need for this project! However, if you are buying a large lot of these stars, you will have plenty of sand to work with! Fun for kids, but our adults wanted to play, too!

Recommend with reservations
The stars are smaller than I expected when it referenced 3". I now saw that another reviewer commented on this too. Other than that, the quality is what you would expect for plastic. Not everything holds up well. They are cute and the kids think the idea is super cool. Great little party favor.

Good end of the year gifts.
This was a great end of the year gift for my students but they broke very easily. My students loved the star theme but by the time we twisted the lids the chains started to break. I would purchase them again but would use hot glue to seal them shut.

What U C is what U get!
I have bought these "Star" containers before. I host a children's craft booth at a company picnic every year. We use small squirt bottles filled with pixie stix candy. The kids fill the containers just like you would for sand art. EVERY age from 2 to adult LOVES this activity. The STAR shapes are the perfect size for a small craft activity. The children finish the craft and then they have the candy inside for later!

A Big Hit At The Party
Even the boys liked these cute little key chains. They are small, but really a good size for a quick project. A couple of the lids were stripped and couldn't be used once removed, which is the only reason I did not give a 5 star review.

Great activity
Toddlers loved filling these with sands, and the three year olds did great with using the funnels. They were the hit of the party and we actually ran out. The quality is not great, the chain and ring fell apart on quite a few of them.

Great
It was a big hit at our Fall Harvest Feastival. The kids loved making the bottles as a take home treat!
