Gather your jewelry making supplies to create a necklace that will take you all the way through summer with its cool colors and pretty details. This beaded necklace also makes a thoughtful gift.
1. Cut your desired length of necklace, including a little extra length for the clasps.
2. Form a small loop at the end of one necklace. Clamp a crimp tube onto the wire, closing the loop. Cover the tube with a crimp cover. Thread a single jumpring through the loop.
3. Thread the beads onto the wire in your desired pattern. If you have extra wire from making the initial loop, ensure you thread the beads through both the necklace wire and excess wire.
4. One third of the way through the necklace, cut the wire and form another loop. Clamp a crimp tube to the wire and cover it with a crimp cover. Thread a jumpring through the loop and attach the charm to the necklace. Attach a jumpring through one of the charm's feathers, clamping closed.
5. With the remaining wire, repeat steps 2 and 3, forming the rest of the necklace.
6. Form the final loop with the remaining wire, attaching a crimp tube and crimp cover around the wire to finish. Attach the lobster clasp with the jumpring to complete the necklace.
