Super Suncatcher Glitter Paint Pens
Work great, run out fast
As a teacher and a mom I love crafts that minimize mess. These were perfect! My only complaint is that the pens ran out VERY quickly. Used with five kids at a birthday party -- each kid did 2-3 suncatchers and many of the pens were empty just from that small amount. I would still buy them again though.

These pens are great for the price. My girls love them!

I used this product with my kindergarten class when they came in for the conference. This was a wonderful activity and easy for them to do. Not much mess and the paint dried clear!

Awful. And Expensive.
Half these pens were dried up. Hidden cap inside the screwed on top caused explosions with second graders.

All dried up. Useless at birthday party.

Planned to use these for party favors. Only two of the 24 markers were not dried out. The rest were well-wrapped, sealed tubes of solid pigment in a smelly clear fluid. I tried kneading to reconstitute, at room temperature and after sitting in a cup of warm water. Neither attempt was successful. The suncatchers themselves were great. Thankfully I had glue and glitter on hand so the kids could do something with them, but I am really disappointed with this. I can't even imagine how long they have to have been sitting around to get to this state...

I purchased Sun Catchers and the glitter sun catcher paint for my son's Communion party. The paint containers were a bit difficult to open and were extremely hard to get started. A few I threw away because a weird watery substance came out the tube instead of the color paint. The worst part, while one of the kids was trying to squeeze the paint out it exploded all over the resteraunt wall. Damage we had to fix. Also, NOT WASHABLE. My son's communion suit, his brothers sports jacket and other guests clothing all were ruined. I usually have no problems with anything I purchase from Oriental. This turned out to be an absolute disaster. HIghly do not recomend this paint for any party!

Over half were unusable!
I bought these for my daughter's birthday party. The suncatchers themselves were great, but the pens were a big disappointment. Over half of them had the pigment and glitter completely dried up in a bath of what squirted out as bubbly water. I tried kneading them to rehydrate the paint part, but it didn't work.
The ones that weren't dried up worked okay, but were still thick and gloppy and haven't dried translucent like I'd expect from paint for a suncatcher. Overall, a big disappointment.

Glitter paint pens
It was a great idea and worked really well for our sun catcher wind chimes, but 1/3 of the paint was dried up when I opened them for the first time. I was glad that I purchased 2 sets or we would not have had enough for all of my students to complete the project!

Our 3-5 year olds used these with the butterfly sun catchers for their Mother's Day project and they worked fine. My only complaint was setting them up. They come in a bag, but then in the bag each tube is individually wrapped in cellophane. After you get that off, you have to unscrew the cap, unscrew the applicator tip, and take out this tiny little stopper in the tip of the pen. We had to use tweezers for some of them, and the paint got under my fingernails and all over my hands in some cases. A lot of work to get them ready to use! At first we didn't even know what that tiny little stopper was, and tried squeezing the tube, which of course them burst open and got paint everywhere. It would probably be better to include instructions so this does not happen.
