Work great, run out fast
As a teacher and a mom I love crafts that minimize mess. These were perfect! My only complaint is that the pens ran out VERY quickly. Used with five kids at a birthday party -- each kid did 2-3 suncatchers and many of the pens were empty just from that small amount. I would still buy them again though.

Good value
These pens are great for the price. My girls love them!

I used this product with my kindergarten class when they came in for the conference. This was a wonderful activity and easy for them to do. Not much mess and the paint dried clear!

Over half were unusable!
I bought these for my daughter's birthday party. The suncatchers themselves were great, but the pens were a big disappointment. Over half of them had the pigment and glitter completely dried up in a bath of what squirted out as bubbly water. I tried kneading them to rehydrate the paint part, but it didn't work.
The ones that weren't dried up worked okay, but were still thick and gloppy and haven't dried translucent like I'd expect from paint for a suncatcher. Overall, a big disappointment.

Glitter paint pens
It was a great idea and worked really well for our sun catcher wind chimes, but 1/3 of the paint was dried up when I opened them for the first time. I was glad that I purchased 2 sets or we would not have had enough for all of my students to complete the project!

OK
Our 3-5 year olds used these with the butterfly sun catchers for their Mother's Day project and they worked fine. My only complaint was setting them up. They come in a bag, but then in the bag each tube is individually wrapped in cellophane. After you get that off, you have to unscrew the cap, unscrew the applicator tip, and take out this tiny little stopper in the tip of the pen. We had to use tweezers for some of them, and the paint got under my fingernails and all over my hands in some cases. A lot of work to get them ready to use! At first we didn't even know what that tiny little stopper was, and tried squeezing the tube, which of course them burst open and got paint everywhere. It would probably be better to include instructions so this does not happen.

Disapointment
I was very disapointed by this product. I originally bought it to use with a suncatcher project with our preschool and kindergarten classes.
First of all, each pen was individually shrink wrapped. This required an adult, scissors, and much determination to get open.
Next, each pen had a "safety cap" under the writing tip. Not the end of the world, but it was time consuming to unscrew both the regular lid and the writing tip before you could then wrestle with removing the tiny safety cap. Most of the safety caps had failed, causing paint to leak into the writing tip and then dry out. This made the pens nearly unusable. We were able to forcefully clear out a couple of the tips using several different methods, but this was a hugely messy process and resulted in wasting a lot of paint.
I will not be purchasing these pens again.

lots of paint explosions
The colors and glitter are great, but unfortunately we had several incidents where the pens exploded and paint deposited in huge amounts on the students project and worse yet on their clothes. It was disappointing for students who had worked hard on their project to have it ruined when the paint exploded.
