Awesome Product
I love these paints! You get a lot of paint for the price, the colors are brilliant, and I found them to be quite washable.

Not really terrific
I ordered this set for our home school for elementary projects. This is the first time I've ordered these tempera paints, expecting them to be of similar quality as other tempera paints. These are smooth and somewhat glossy, but rather thin and transparent. Tempera should be more opaque. Also, it stained our hands even though it did wash off after washing with soap a few times. We don't know if it stains clothing. I think I'll stick with the brand I used to order.

About What I Would Expect from Tempura Paint
I purchased this paint for my daughter's 6th birthday. The theme was "Paint Party". I bought tempura paint because it is extremely easy to clean and washes off most surfaces. This paint was no exception. We did not leave a spot of it anywhere. It even washed out of most clothing. There were a few stubborn spots that did leave stains.
There are two reasons I do not give this product a better rating:
1. The paint seems thinner than other tempura paints I have used with my preschool class.
2. The green paint is very chunky, and no amount of shaking will get it to smooth out. The kids still painted with it - it just was not as smooth as the other colors and looked really gross in the paint pots.

Seemed Adequate
I purchased these to paint plywood for a face cut-out photo board (not sure what you'd call these). Anyway, the paint was far too transparent. I was expecting it to be thick enough to hide pencil written on white primed plywood. Probably, that's not what these were intended to do, so my fault for wrong application. Have yet to use these on paper.

Terrific Tempera Paints are Just That!!
Ordered these paints for a variety of projects for our VBS this year and they are fantastic! Great price, ample product and washed off of skin easily. There was slight staining on some of the kids hands after being coated, but it was minimal and came off after baths! Great product and hope there is more in stock for next year because we are going to need it :-)

Painting Fun
I bought these for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. I had a difficult time getting the silver seals off of the bottles, but I am glad they are sealed so well-- I wouldn't have wanted the paint to be everywhere in my package! The colors were great! I did get my finger tips stained with paint from opening the bottles, but the kids didn't get their hands and fingers too badly stained. I've used this paint since and it didn't come out of my daughters shirt, (I didn't even notice she had it on her back-- so I didn't wash it immediately- not a big deal either because in addition to an apron, I have her wear "paint clothes")

Would Not Recommend
I bought these for daughter's art birthday party. I am really surprised at all the positive reviews because I would definitely not recommend them. They say "easily washable" on the front- HA!- they stained my hands for well over a day. I can't even imagine what they would do to clothing... thank goodness I didn't have to find out. They were very hard to open-- the silver seal underneath the cap had no pull tab and had to be cut open. The bottle was VERY full and so the paint came out while I was opening it and got all over my fingers. It stained immediately. I washed my hands within 10 seconds of opening the first bottle and it didn't come off for a whole day. By the time I got done with opening all the bottles (which took forever) my hands looked like a Jackson Pollock. This is why I decided not to use these for the birthday party... didn't want a bunch moms mad at me for skin stains. I bought some acrylic paints at a craft store instead-- acrylic is not supposed to be washable, but they did not stain my hands. I will say that these tempera colors are very bright. However, don't plan on using these on canvas. They don't mix well-- tempera paints turn brown when mixed together.

Pretty Good!
These are pretty good paints. I was impressed for what I got for the price. I don't have a complaint except that the tops are a little hard to open. Opening and closing them many times hurt my thumb, so I have to use a towel to put on my thumb to open them.

Wonderful Paints
The paints worked wonderfully to decorate the wood ornaments from Oriental Trading; the paints were a great bargain!

Excellent Paint products
This is my second set of paints. i lent my first set to another teacher and they love it. So I had to buy another paint set for my room.
