Tissue Paper Anchor Craft Kit
Our church mission team made this at a Mission to Mexico VBS with very little difficulty- regardless of the fact that none of the children spoke english, and our spanish was sketchy, at best.
We demonstrated the craft initially, as a translator explained in their language, then broke into groups. Children were able to paint the acetate with a watered down glue solution, using foam brushes. We did not trim the edges and the kids kept the tissue within the edges, and it turned out beautifully!

Not recommended for VBS
This craft is recommended as a VBS or a classroom project. I just used it for VBS and did not realize in advance that you have to mix glue and water and paint the whole anchor with this mixture twice. It is then supposed to dry before being trimmed and assembled. Although they turned out very cute, I would not recommend them to anyone who does not have two days to complete them.
