Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great project for entire Sunday School This was a great project for our Sunday School program. Nursery through Middle School enjoyed making their own stain glass windows and the High School students were great help for the younger children. We had the children start them one Sunday, finish the next and then we hung them in our church the following Sunday. They all look really nice and sharp! We made the craft apart of a "God's Story - Our Story" lesson. We discussed how stain glass windows tell a story. October 11, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great project for a group with varied ages! End result always stunning! These stained glass crafts turned out beautiful. Our group varied in ages from 3-13 and all of the projects were gorgeous! It was best for the adults to provide the supplies and let the kids go...as the craft dried it was a stunning stained glass look no matter how messy the glueing process had been. Great craft to display on a sunny day! July 21, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pretty! Got these for a Kindergarten He is Risen party and it was a beautiful and fun craft! We used a hole punch to create the circle at the top for the red satin rope and a parent pre-tied them. I found it worked best if you poured Elmer's glue in a bowl and diluted it by about 30%. Also, using a wider paint brush such as a 3" one made it work faster...just give the plastic piece a nice layer and the kids can stick the tissue paper to it. I also separated the tissue paper squares in advance so the kids would be sure to use a variety of colors and stick them one at a time. (You'll receive a lot more than needed, so don't feel you need to separate all of them.) After the kids were done, parents helped with the 2nd/final coverage of glue mixture...again with the wider paint brush to get a complete, but not too thick layer of glue. Then, they were left to dry overnight. A parents then trimmed any tissue paper hanging over the edge, and used a thin run of Elmer's blue to (1) paste the 'stained glass' to the one side and (2) past the 2 sides of the black border together. We also used a silver Sharper on the back to write the child's name along with the year and caption of "He is Risen!" Sticking the cross was very easy. It was more work than we planned, but very beautiful! We picked this craft because we thought it would be one that the parents would keep for the future to hang someone in the home! I am glad we picked this one! April 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wow, students loved these, but very difficult to put together. These were adorable. However, the pieces were very difficult to assemble. There are many mistakes in printing the pieces. Slots did not line up correctly or they were too small. This was very exasperating. They did paint nicely and the students loved working with them and they loved the concept. Please ask the company to improve their workmanship. July 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great project! My large children's group of 80 kids, ages 2 through 13, loved this project! It makes up beautifully and is larger than I expected. I'll definitely be using this again! July 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The kids loved this craft for Easter! We had a blast with this craft (ages 3 & up)! I only wish I had known that I would need white glue, water, and paint brushes. We also had to use a hole puncher to hang them, because gluing the string didn't work well. April 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great church craft for Easter! Used this for our 4 & 5-year-olds. I chose to use glue sticks for gluing on of the tissue, and easily can be used to go over the top of tissue to help tack down corners. (Used Elmer's for gluing of the foam frame. April 1, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Low quality and bad description Foam pieces arrived bent - no way to straighten them out. Not all were the same size, some had chunks off the top or bottom. Website does not include correct instructions - you need a LOT of glue for this craft and it's quite messy. Glue for tissue paper, glue for foam pieces. Only self adhesive part is the cross. Definitely disappointed. July 16, 2011
