messy but ok
I used these with my kindergarten class two years ago. It was a bit messy since we did it in one day and they have to sandwich the tissue paper/clear plastic and thin foam outline hearts together. It's been a while, but I do remember that there were some bent ones and that they can get a bit warped when they dry. However, the kids really liked it and they worked nicely as sun catchers. They looked student made :).

Heart 2 Heart
I do a craft every month with my grandchildren. I did this with my grandaughter on an overnight stay at our home. We always rank the craft and determine if we'd like to do a similar one again sometime. This one ranked "fun", do again but time consuming. It was easy but a bit messy with all the glue. (She's 6) The great thing was it's actually 2 crafts in one. We decorated the heart from the center that you remove with left over foam shapes from a previous craft and used it as a door hanging.
On the down side every one of the purple hearts was extermelly misshaped. Not one of them was usable. That's why we gave it a 3.

I did this project with two classes. 20- 5 yr olds and 35- 7 to 8 yrs olds. I was pretty happy with it, but I think it is better in smaller groups or with lots of parent helpers. Out of 60 packs - I would say at least 1 in 12 foam hearts were bent. I did not see how the ones with the bend worked out.
I bought foam glue pens at a craft store in addition to white glue.

Very Nice
These came out nice and they were bigger than I pictured. Two problems: 1) It is a two step process needing drying time in between. Therefore it can not be done in one day if you are a teacher. 2) One of the foam hearts was not die cut properly, was crooked and bent. So the kit only made 11 hearts.

Fun but poor quality
I ordered three packages, and several of the foam and acetate hearts were bent very badly, which made them hard to use. Also, as they dry, they curl up, so they are not as neat and pretty as pictured. Still, the kids had a lot of fun with them.

Brownie Best Buy
My Brownies enjoyed creating their hearts.
The were a nice size, individually wrapped and easy to put together.
