VBS kids loved this craft! Purchased this craft for 1st thru 5th grade VBS children. They loved it! June 19, 2011

Great project for the price I purchased this as a project for my preschool summer camp at my synagogue, for my "Sky" weekly theme. It was exactly appropriate for ages 5+. My younger campers could only do it with a lot of teacher assistance. The only downside for me is that the kite frame has a prominent cross shape in it that felt a little too Christian for my synagogue setting. July 25, 2011

Very fun craft We bought a couple packages to use for a craft day at the public library where I work. Since it was supposed to be a make-it-and-take-it craft, we had to make some adjustments. I found some acetate sheets and traced the kite shape, cutting one additional acetate sheet per kite. Then I glued one acetate sheet to each of the foam kite frames. That way all the kids had to do was coat one side with the glue/glaze, decorate with the tissue squares, coat the other side with the glue/glaze and "put them together like a peanut butter sandwich." They proceeded with the rest of the craft (using glue dots for instant adhesion) and were able to take the completed project home as soon as they put the last pieces on. The kids LOVED this craft! It looks great in a window with the light coming through. April 19, 2010
