Wedding Cake Treat Box Slices
Wedding Shower Hit!
When I recieved the 'cake' I was mildly disappointed. I thought it would be more colorful - or brighter. I knew that they were not to hold cake but a 'favor'. So it didn't bother me that 'cake' would not work for a slice of real cake. I was looking for a shower favor. I put my head together with another friend and we bought little flowers, toule, glittery tiny things, ribbon in the wedding colors and decorated each slice of cake. Inside there were handmade gifts. Every one who won a game at the wedding shower got to pick a 'slice'. Then before everyone left we had a drawing for the remaining slices. All attendees loved the cardboard wedding cake! I am buying more to have on hand for future wedding showers / rehersal dinners..etc.

good for what was SHOWN
though these were a bit larger than i thought they are very nice and i would buy it again it shows in the picture that it was for geusts to save or take a piece of cake for later, and they are right for that but it would cost a whole lot to fill each one! but they need instrucions lol not hard to figure out though

Will attempt to return these
These boxes are huge and they do not hold together well. I was extremely disappointed with them. I had to use double stick tape to hold together the one set I assembled and even then some of them came apart (see attached images). I hope to return the other 4 pkgs I purchased.
I planned on filling with Hershey's kisses, but it takes over 100 kisses to fill the smaller box and the "boxes" are not sturdy at all.

The packing job was bad alot of the tips of the boxs are bent so when i put them together the tip of the cake slice is bent. the glue doest sitck very well. The packers are very lazy.

cute item for the price
i was aware that the item was favors, but the photo suggests you can use as a take home box for cake. the adhesive isn't very well, but after reading reviews (&my wedding hasn't happened yet) i think a little extra tape and some small pieces of wax paper inside wouldn't be too bad to add. especially for the low price and the quanity of the item.

Nope don't buy
This is one of the few disappointments I've had with OTC. We were missing two bottom triangles, some triangles didn't have sticky tape, some were torn and it took two of us 40 mins to put together. I bought just to see if it might be something we would use at daughter's wedding. NOPE, I wouldn't buy this again. We are thinking of using the put together ones to give wedding party gifts into, maybe.

Good purchase for money
It was as expected, Looked very nice box. Glue was little not too sturdy, box keep opening, we had to use clear scotch tape. But other than that, they were very pretty.

Please read the description
Okay...yes it was very time consuming to assemble...and yes you should use extra glue...but please read the description. Nowhere does it state that these adorable boxes were intended to HOLD cake...they are merely SHAPED like cake. If you would like to use them to send cake home with your guests, consider adding wax paper. Other than that, if you use them as intended (with a little extra glue) they will hold up.

not very sturdy
Very flimsy boxes. I would never put cake in them.

i ordered these for take out cake since we had a dinner reception. the design was very pretty however, the tacky adhesive didn't hold up very well. i would recommend these with the understanding that you may want to add extra adhesive just in case. the other thing was assembly; it was a little tiring. i have arthritis and peeling the facing off the adhesive was a little tedious but not something that would keep me from ordering again. during assembly i did wish i had purchased some already assembled but i would get these again for the price and quality of the materials not including the adhesive.
