Great Craft for kids!
Purchased these for a small group of girls & they had a blast making them! Minimal help was needed from the adults and minimal mess from the glue also. There is a large enough foam heart included that fills the space where a picture could go...our girls made them this way & used them as jewelry boxes.
You gets LOTS of crafts for a short amt of money! Also loved that each box and it's pieces to glue on come individually packaged!

ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE
These Valentine photo boxes are one of the best purchases I've made from OTC. They are a good size, pretty sturdy, and they provide more than enough foam pieces and sequins to decorate the box. Mine has a picture of my son and is sitting on my desk at work. People always comment on how cute it is. Very pleased!

A little disappointed
I don't remember when I purchased these, but I decided I'm going to make these. Every time I open the package a piece is missing, so now I have to figure something else out to do....

Beware missing parts
These little boxes were sturdy and none were crushed. However, there were an exceptional number of missing or mutilated pieces in the kits. If you order these for a group, be sure to get plenty of extras. Six-year-old boys handled this project without too much difficulty and the results (by cannibalizing other sets) were great.

Better than I expected
None came crushed or damaged. The cardboard is heavier and better than the round boxes I bought at the same time. There were more than enough little foam pieces to glue on. We glued a memory verse in the open space rather than a picture. It turned out very cute.

Good for the Price
these are smallish and not as sturdy as the boxes you get from craft stores. However,they are much better value since you get all the supplies to decorate them. I bought them when they were reduced and they were much more cost effective than buying several packets of stickers from the craft store.They were fun to create and parents really loved receiving a photo-memory for Valentines day.
Would recommend glue dots to attatch the decorations- we used glue which was very messy and took ages to dry.

Easy & Fun
I disagree with T2009Girl that the size is too small and not described accurately. The box is just right and measures the same as the description. Unless she got something different then me. It really is a good size to store jewelry, and with a picture of your child on it what a treasure ;) Instructions are easy to follow or the child can create their own design. I recommend this project to ages 7 years and older. I will be doing this project with my Country Club's R-Kids Club this week and have complete faith they will LOVE it :D

You get what you pay for. . .
Boxes are adequate, smaller than description and pictures lead on.
