Great For Community Outreach
We purchased 600+ of these pinwheels and handed them out, along with a small scripture candy to children throughout our community on Valentine's Day. It was a great way to reach out to our local community.
We were concerned after reading review that the handles might not fit, but we did not have any problems with them at all. The straw/handles are exactly the same width of a 3-hole punch, so we printed up some cards with a brief message and punched a hole at the top and bottom of the card... the pinwheel then slid through the holes and made a nice presentation.
Some of the pinwheels where a bit slow to get started spinning, but we found that if you pinched them a bit, and twirlled them a bit, they would loosen up and work just fine.
We were amazed at how well received these were... kids were lined up like bee's on honey!!! :-)

Fun product
The pinwheels were fun for the children and worked well. Some of them were a little difficult to assemble. The straw part did not fit well into the pinwheel part with some of them. Other than that they were great!

Poor Quality
I am returning these. The quality of the pinwheels is embarrassing. Flimsy. I wouldn't even pay $5 for these. Very disappointed.

Good for the money
I ahve read others reviews. I did not experience such issues. The only thing I did not realize when purchasing was that the pinwheels were mini as it does not mention that on the pic. All of the rest do say mini. I realized after purchase and reading reviews. But still cute and worth the money! Just wish they would have had coordinating supplies for my childs ladybug party. So I had to incorporate hearts as well.Hope the two work!

Very cute, easy to assemble
The only negative is we were not able to use about 10 - we had a few broken sticks, and few that would not fit into the pinwheel. Overall though, they were a big hit with a group of ADULT ladies celebrating GO RED for Women on 2/4/2011.

Small, but perfect for goody bags
My first grade daughter picked out this item to give to her entire class as goodies for Valentines Day. The wheels don't move as easily as the larger pinwheels you normally see, but it works fine. You just have to blow a little harder. The paint looks great and these items were packaged appropriately. Fits perfectly in goody bags. I would purchase these again.

There small
As the description reads 4 1/4 inch diameter, there small, it really measured about 4 inches. The picture is a bit misleading, you think your getting two types of pinwheels silver and red, the box I received had only had silver pinwheel with red hearts. There were no red pinwheels. If your looking for something small than you'll be happy, but they definitley cannot compare to the typical sized pinwheels.
