Beautiful lights!
Perfect for indoor ceremony/reception! Works well in frosted votive cups. Batteries included all worked on each light. Loved the height of the candle, works so much better than battery operated tea light candles because these lights sit higher in the cup.

Useful and safe for weddings
Good purchase for table luminaries. Each candle does indeed flicker like a real candle.
Just be sure to check that each one works when you open the box. Also, the picture seems as if the flame has a yellow light, but my candles gave off an orange glow.

Great!
I've never seen the votive size in the stores before. I bought the tealights and the votives cuz I think they are great. I love them for parties and just evening time. They are way safer than a lit candle for the same effect.

Looks lovely in candle holder
These are absolutely great. Only 2 out of the 12 were not working out of the box. I am going to try and change the battery to see if that fixes the problem, before I return them.

Great purchase, except...
I bought these candles to use as center pieces for my birthday party celebration. The candles were awesome, except 6 of the 24 candles were already on when I received them and the batteries were not good anymore. The batteries that came with the candles were cheap to begin with, but I had to go out and purchase more batteries to replace the ones that had died while the candles were on when I received them. I would highly reconsider purchasing anything battery operated from Oriental Trading again.

After looking all over for flameless votives, not tea lights, I was surprised to find just what I needed in quantity at Oriental Trading. After retiring from teaching, where I counted on OT for 35 years, I was pleased to find I could get what I needed for projects during this exciting point in my life, filled with creative pursuits.

Small votive candles are really small
I intended to use these with other candles but found them to be too small. I ended up grouping them in a black plasctic bowl and they worked well as a group.

great product
I was impressed that the candle battery lasted so long!! When I went to take down the paper lanterns that I put the candle in, the battery was still keeping the flame flickering after 14 hours.
