Good for display, not for play Made the purchase thinking I could use the fire engine for display on a birthday cake and that it would be a set my son could play with afterwards. It makes a cute set for display, but I agree with previous reviewers that the quality is lacking. Not all wheels rotate smoothly -- if you roll the car on a flat surface, some wheels don't spin because it's not evenly level on all sides. There are also chips on some edges because of poor paint quality. Not a set that is meant for rough play, but it's good for display. My set arrived with one duplicate vehicle in place of another vehicle. I contacted customer service and they were gracious and quick to offer me the option of a new set or full refund. July 3, 2012

Disappointed I purchased these vehicles for my preschoolers to play with. The wheels had to be glued back on the first time they played with them. September 5, 2010

Needs Improvement I purchased these to use as realia for English language development lessons. The red lights at the top of the vehicles had all come off and I had to hot glue them. I found this to a bit inconvenient! September 19, 2009
