LOVE THESE!!!
We used these for placecard holders at our Christmas dinner. It was fun to spend time with my nieces on Christmas Eve make these crafts for Nana's table. They looked like they were dancing on the table as we bumped the table as we ate, they were so much fun to have as part of our Christmas. The kids had a great time making them (ages 6 and 9 but the 9 year olds were most into it) I also had some extra so my daughter made me one to sit on my desk at work, he's so happy looking and fun!

Frustrating!
Bought this for a holiday crafts for my children, ages 7 & 5. My 5 year old stuck it out to do the whole craft but my others gave up after frustration. The snowman hat on this project is extremely frustrating and hard for an adult to do! The glue aspect of this craft makes is less fun because the pieces don't stay glued. Came out cute after I basically finished the project for my girls.

Very CUTE
Precious idea for Christmas presents! I started doing this project with my five year old granddaughter and is was just too hard for her to use the glue and have the patience to complete the task. HOWEVER, I finished the project and will give them (on her behalf) to her mom and other members of the family with her pictures in the arms. I think that the wire for the arms needs to be a bit stronger and I found that if you strip the plastic off of the bottom of the wire that it will go into the snowman easier. I would have also liked to have had the wire already in the shape to hold the pictures. Fun project though!

More work than expected
More work than expected, but worth the price. Assembly required for the snowman. Takes about 10 minutes per snowman. Need your own glue.

Not for Nursing Home Residents
I have been asked to teach craft classes for redidents of a nursing home and the sonowman will be a challenge. It will take a glue fun which may not be the safest item for seniors to handle. It is cute and above 8 would be OK because they may have a little patience with the with time for regular glue to dry.

not worth it
the quality was very poor. there is a big otc stamp right in the middle of the snowmens body and it is hard for kids to put together. it looks much better in the picture then it does when you make it. i had to fix and add things just to make them look nice enough to use. not really worth the time or money.

Great kit, just details here and there
If you are VERY picky about details, probably this is not a kit for you. There are some details that need to be improved, such as the glued of the hats. For that I used glitter to simulate snow on top that will cover the imperfections. The same with the body colorations, I used paint and glitter to cover some stains or imperfection here and there. Over all a nice souvenir for a Christmas party, just be aware that up close it has some imperfections that you will have to live with it or cover them.
