great craft for class party we found it easier to put the yarn on the sticks first then glue the sticks together. After allowing the sticks to dry a little we added the center yarn - each snowflake is unique so we didn't worry too much about how much it resembled the diagram. Wouldn't recommend for kids younger than 8. December 23, 2011

Cute idea, but needs improvement. We could not get the yarn to stick with glue. I even tried super glue and it did not work well. Pipe cleaners would be perfect for this instead of yarn. We ended up tying the yarn in knots to hold it in place, which worked OK. December 22, 2011

Needs just a few improvements Makes a very cute kid-made ornament. There are so many strings of yarn and spokes of wood to work with, you are constantly moving the ornament around while making, so I would suggest these 3 improvements: (1) I recommend tieing and gluing all of the yarn pieces, rather than just gluing. (2) providing instructions for a neat pattern for the interior yarn circle so that the finished product looks like the catalog picture. (3) Gluing the wood sticks together and then letting them dry before starting with the yarn. November 29, 2011
