Yellow Foil-Wrapped Chocolate Roses
Nice favors for a grown-up party
I first ordered the red ones till they ran out. Then I ordered the yellow. They are nice, pretty, the taste isn't terribly exciting, but then, you don't usually purchase chocolate party-favor roses for the taste - more for the "effect." They look lovely in a vase or in one of those gold florists boxes. But for pity's sake, DON'T EVER PURCHASE THE PINK ONES! Every single one of the rose heads fell off the second we took them out of the box. Not one or two, but ALL of them. The red and yellow roses have a positive connection (like plastic flowers on a stem). The pink ones are GLUED on with the worst glue imaginable. If the party hadn't been the next day, we would have sent them back. As it was, we had to use double sided scotch tape to get them to hold. Red yes. Yellow yes. Pink never!

Bought a dozen to taste thinking they might be good wedding favors. They look pretty good (some excess glue showing at the bottom of the rose bud, but not too bad. One bud did fall off during shipping) but they do not taste good. The chocolate is waxy and bland. My fiance said they barely tasted like chocolate. We would happily pay an extra dollar or two per rose for better chocolate but we would not give these to our guests when they taste like this.

A Good Buy
We used this as a Valentine's Fundraiser with great results. Kids loved the chocolate (not too sweet) and the adults like the novelty of chocolate roses. Only problem was that some of the roses came off the stems.

The yellow, red, white roses were great. The pink and purple I would not buy again. The heads fell off when I opened them.
I think the roses are similar, but not exact. In the event you intend to do different colored roses, they won't match. Seems a different company makes the pink and purple.

I bought them to make a bouquet for someone instead of real flowers. They'll be perfect!
