Terrible!
I bought these as part of goody bags for my daughter's birthday--some of the kids started opening them before they left and EVERY single one was broken within 3 minutes. The elastic either broke or came out of the rubber ball. Seriously cheaply made. I was mortified to put something of such poor quality in the bags. Also--I had about 5 extra at home that ALL did the same thing. Save your money and buy something else!

These work for a favor bag, but they seem sort of cheaply made. So far they haven't fallen apart, so there haven't been problems in construction. They just seem like they are made of thin cheap wood, but they serve their purpose.

a toy you can't play with
Cute: yes. Functional toy: no.
Within 3 minutes of taking one of these out of the bag, both the rubber band had broken off the paddle and the ball had broken off the rubber band. And this was with me and my daughter just checking out the toy.
Ultimately I will be giving these out in her party goody bags - because we'll only save a couple of bucks after return shipping and handling - but I will be warning the kids up front that these will probably not make it home in one piece. =(

Disappointing

Good for a LITTLE bit of entertainment.
I bought these for my daughter's birthday goody bags. I like to have my birthday parties ready to go well in advance so I put all of the toys in their bags ahead of time. After being in the bag for like a week they had all bowed. So they weren't straight when I gave them out but the kids still loved them, until they lost their balls, which pretty much every single one did. The looks of dissapointment was kind of heart breaking. It's a good think I had a lot of other toys in those bags.

Don't bother
While these paddles are really cute and colorful, the rubberband strings broke during the first use! And since I had a few extra leftover from the party favors, I kept giving my kids new ones. And each and every one of those broke as well. I feel embarrassed that I gave out such a poor quality item in the goody bags.
I wouldn't recommend these at all.
