Not a Telescope At All!!!
So disappointed! I would not have ordered these if I had know that they were not "lenses." I believe that "do not magnify"was added after I ordered (or somehow I missed reading it). Hard to teach "lenses" when it's only clear plastic. Wish I had not ordered so many at this price! We could have used paper rolls and made our own much cheaper. Learning experience.

Good Purchase
I bought these for my daughters school project and thought they would be flimsy and not really very durable, however, that was not the case at all. We received the package and they were well made and the cardboard was very thick and durable. We were able to decorate them in many different ways and they never lost their shape or broke in any way. Very happy with these and she got a A!

Perfect DIY For A Kids Party!
These little explorer DIY telescopes are perfect for any kids party! I used them for my daughter's preschool graduation party so they could make one for their explorations in Kindergarten. We used washi tape, adhesive jewels, stickers, and markers so ZERO cleanup after! Made really well and overall durable. Worth the purchase.

Super fun, some function issues
These telescopes were an absolute hit with the kids at our birthday pirate paaarty! They decorated them with markers and metallic tape and used them throughout the pirate adventure! Note that several were assembled sloppy at the factory such that they looked great, but the inner tube was mistakenly glued - so those telescopes could not extend fully. Luckily most of the kids were not upset about it, but note that about 4-5 of the 12 where glued in error like this...

So fun!
We had an island-themed VBS this year and the kids LOVED these! They are already assembled and the kids were able to decorate them however they wanted. Markers, stickers, pom poms, glitter glue...each one was so unique and they loved that they could do anything with it. These are a great value for the money!
