poor quality
I ordered 200 pcs of the paper fans for an elegant late summer wedding and the product is definatly more of a "craft " quality. Not only were they wrinkled and messy looking they were difficult to open and close with lots of splinters.

BEST ANSWER: The distance from the wood stick to the wood stick on the opposite side is 16" when totally opened at its widest point. The white paper is 5 1/2 inches wide. The paper starts 4 1/4 inches from the end of the bamboo base.
