Not metallic
Metallic? They are NOT. Thin-ish cardboard with shiny covering. Guessing they won’t last long outside. I do like the large size of the star and that they have pre made punch holes.

Red, silver, blue stars
These stars are the perfect size for decorating for the summer holidays ( Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day).

Use them for everything
At our RV Park, we bring these out for every patriotic holiday (and then some). Very versatile and long-lasting when stored flat. I still have some that are probably at least 4 or 5 years old. Love 'em.

Nice bright stars
Not a whole lot one can wax lyrical about some shiny cardboard stars. These do the job. No issues.

I recently decorated the inside of my historic tavern in preparation for the patriotic holidays that are coming. It is a climate controlled environment. After 1 day, the metallic stars all started to curl up. Not happy.

I'm looking for decoration to hang outside under a covered overhang. It's a commercial setting durability is a factor. I have several questions: 1. How durable would these cardboard stars be in such an environment? 2. Are the discrete red, white and blue stars priced a bit higher different? 3. I'm also considering your paper lantern/balls; how durable are these in this setting? Thanks so much.

  • BEST ANSWER: They are made of paper therefore if they got wet they would no longer work the same goes with the paper lanterns. They would work well otherwise.
