wonderful craft
Thank you for having a craft about the ascension. The craft is great. Only the sun is a little big and we trimmed it down a little.

Making an Abstract Idea More Concrete- The Ascension
All ages liked it from Pre-K to 4th. It fit within our time frame too. The kids remarked that they liked it .

Need to work on the sun!
All the kids loved this craft but we had a hard time with the sun. We couldn’t get the sun to adhere to the rays. And then couldn’t get the sun to adhere to the clouds. Since it kept falling off most of them just through it in the trash. We also put some of the smaller clouds behind Jesus to make it look more like he was in the clouds.

wow craft
Very beautiful craft. Gluing was so easy using glue dot for clouds on the string if you use the kind of glue dots resting on clear plastic film squares.Smack the square plastic film with the glue dot against the cloud and string. Voila!!! Likewise sticking clouds on the cup was so easy using glue dots.No mess!

Difficult to assemble
Clouds won't stick to the cup. White glue didn't work at all. Glue stick worked if I used a lot and held the cloud down tight for a few minutes, but the edges kept popping up no matter how much glue I used. I will use cotton balls so my Pre-K kids can make this craft.

Cute craft
This is a great craft; however, gluing the clouds onto the cups were very hard. We ended up using hot glue to make them stay on the rounded cup.

Is there a better Bible verse for the cloud? I think the kids would get confused having a craft about the Ascension with the word "Resurrection" on it

  • BEST ANSWER: The cloud reads: In His great mercy, he has given us new birth into a loving hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.: Peter 1:3.

This looks like a really cute craft. Has the problem been resolved with clouds that do not adhere properly to the cup?
