Can you wash these hats in a washing machine? If so, what special protocols should I follow?

BEST ANSWER: These hats are made of a washable fabric. If it is necessary you wash the hats, we recommend air drying them with something inside the hat to form their shape. Please know the hats will not hold their shape as well after being washed.
Are these hats too big for preschoolers?

BEST ANSWER: The circumference is 24 inches around. It does state they run small however most children's hats are 22 inches. There is an adjustable string to assist in holding it on.
