Rated 4 out of 5 by from Foam mitten picture frames This will be an easy self-directed activity for our third graders. There was at least one foam mitten per pack with irregularities so if you need a certain number of projects, you may need to keep that in mind. The project materials need to be sorted in advance so each child will have the materials they need without having to sort them while children wait, and we know how that goes. Overall, good value for the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great project for kindergartners The mitten frames were perfect for my son's kindergarten class, I separated the pieces into small bags for each child along with the letters of their name and they did great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun craft for a kindergarten class Bought this craft for my daughters kindergarten class for their winter party. The stickers were great as you don’t need to worry about glue, the glue never works on foam anyways. The options they give you in colors and different sticker options were great for the kids to make it their own way. I brought a Polaroid camera into class so each kid was able to add a picture into the picture frame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No mess but required prep I bought these for a craft to do at a first grade holiday party. It took me about an hour to prep these for the kids. I had to break everything apart out of their foam molds and match up an even amount of sticker sheets. Then I ended up having to buy zip lock bags so I could easily distribute everything. There were several sheets of foam letter stickers that I saved for another project because I didn't know how to distribute fairly. After all that work, the kids didn't seem nearly as interested in these as they were for the foam ginger bread men I also bought here. They used some of the stickers from this project to put on the gingerbread men. If I had to do it over again I'd probably buy extra foam stickers for the ginger bread men rather than buying this project. There also were no instructions, which was mostly unnecessary anyway but the kids didn't know where some of the parts were.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A cute craft that is easy for pre-school I got these for my daughter's pre-school Christmas party. They will be a super cute memory for the students. I gave a few of the extras to my nieces and nephews and friends kids. They are very easy and children can do them without help. I made individual bags for each kid so I could pre-punch out the letters of their names and give each kid the same amount of decorations. That way it's really easy for each kid and they don't have to punch them out by themselves. The kit comes with plenty of letters and decor so there is a lot of stickers left over even after each kids mitten was made. I will save those for other crafts we do :)

Questions & Answers

How do the pictures stay?

Are there essentially two pieces of foam that the picture would be sandwiched between to help hold it in the frame?
Asked by: mlbeeler
I popped the oval out of the center of the mitten, then used a hot glue gun to glue the picture into the picture frame from the back.

Letters for the names

How many letters come in the package? Was there plenty for each child to spell out their name on each mitten? Thank you!
Asked by: ellenshorty
There are two sets of letters with the complete alphabet so students have plenty of letters to spell out their names.
