Horrible
These were so bad. The adhesive on the crosses were all dried up so none of the sand would stick.

Disappointing
Crosses were warped and sticky surface was not very sticky, The sand did not adhere very well. Turned out to be a frustrating activity for the children. The picture on-line led me to believe there would be an assortment of 3 designs - there was only one. That was fine though, no fighting over who had which one.

Better Than I Thought
I used the sand cross as my welcome back to Sunday School craft for my 4 & 5 years old. I could not believe how clean this activity was. The sand sticks remarkably well.

Kids like this craft
Used this for one night of VBS and the kids really like doing it. It is a pretty easy craft, but takes a few minutes to do, especially if they start getting creative with it, which was encouraged.

Nice craft but...
This is a great craft and was enjoyed by all children in our VBS. I only wish it was maybe 2 inches bigger. It's a small size craft.

Disappointed
This item is tiny compared to the picture in the catalog. I'm really disappointed because I thought the kids would love it. I may be returning it.

I received no instructions with these kits. Can anyone help? Do you need glue?
Getti | June 17th, 2017
  • BEST ANSWER: No glue needed. The cross has adhesive cut out. Pull off what section you want to color with the sand. Pour sand on tap lightly with finger. Turn on side to remove excess. Repeat with different color
