Great craft project for birthday party
These were exactly what I expected - wooden block with wire picture holder. Easy to paint and useful to have around. The kids painted them and then decorated with the self adhesive gems. Would definitely buy these again. Just FYI, they are hollow, not solid, so very lightweight - but this was not a concern/issue for me.

We Had Fun Creating!
These were a hit with my VBS Arts and Crafts class. They loved creating their style with them and they love the Polaroids that we took to go along with them. The laughter alone was worth the price. The boxes were sturdy and they took paint well. Thank you for the memories.

Easy. fun craft for toddlers and up!
Took these with us to our family mini trip for Fathers Day gifts.. they were a huge success.. my little granddaughter asked .. what is it for?? and when I showed her, she was significantly impressed. Our two little grandkids (ages 5 & 3) LOVED the photo blocks and the wood markers I had bought for them. Daddy, and the two grandaddiies of the family got them.. and my grown daughter has them on her desk in her house, too.. but but.. but... I DIDNT GET ONE LOLOL

These photo block are good quality for the price. They were smooth and sanded so it made painting quick and easy.

The project was easy enough for a six year old to do. Just felt that the items were pricey and I really didn't need a dozen so I would have liked to be able to order in smaller amounts.

  • BEST ANSWER: Hi. The cubes are not solid wood. They are hollow and very light. Each one weighed 1.7 ounces. Mine came in their own box inside a bigger box because I had ordered a bunch of different things. But the box they came in weighed 1 pound 10.2 ounces, with the cubes inside. See attached picture. (I have already started painting mine.) Hope this helps.
