Wrong information
In discrimination the size was mentioned 3” and 2.5 inches. When I received my order and checked it, the size was only 2x2 inches. Very small

These fun little wooden banks are great for lots of art and learning projects; yes, you can put coins in them, but we have also sorted words into them, used them for wishes, and used them to collect tokens toward a goal (like a sticker chart). Our latest project was decoupage and it came out wonderfully.

Perfect for our giving lesson!
I ordered these for children and youth Sunday school classes for lessons on tithing. We glued three of them together. Each bank got a label of God, Save, Spend. We ordered extra, just in case. The pastor and I are pleased with the quality. They were exactly as described on the website. There was no damage in shipping and we got them earlier than expected.

Good for crafting
Purchased for a kid's VBS craft. They were packed 12 to a box and seem sturdy enough. Out of 48, two had minor defects that will not affect the use. One had a small piece of wood come off on the top. I glued it back into place. One had chipping along one edge, which can likely be sanded to smooth it out a bit. They do measure 3x3. The plug is easily removed and a quarter will come out of the opening. A larger coin might not. The wood is thin; handle with care. All in all, a good value.

Disliked this product. You can put in a coin in top but to get it out, you can't. The opening on bottom is too small. Maybe for a penny, nickel or dime but not for other coins that you sell - like the kindness coins from your on line shopping. They fit on the top slot but then you can't get them out the bottom.

  • BEST ANSWER: Probably, but I would think it would be pretty light. I have always used acrylic. You probably could use markers too.
