These are perfect for my little ones. I have 14 kiddos under 5 years. the nice thing is there is no pattern or specific picture to follow. For them the color is like magic appearing.

Very Nice but...
These are very nice and the kids in our 1st grade class loved them. The crosses are easy to scratch off and the colors underneath very vivid. Just read the cross quantity vs. scratching tool quantity. You do not receive the equal number of scratchers. I had to order an extra set to make sure I had enough scratchers for the class. Over, great product that I will order again.

Easy and fun
Easy and fun craft for kids! The scratch off is a fun way for kids to use their creativity to make their own design. Just be careful once you finish so that it does not accidentally get scratched and change the design.

Not 24 sets
The product description is misleading. When it says there are 24 pieces, it means there are 12 scratching sticks in a set and 12 crosses. I misinterpreted the description and am needing to order two more sets.

A quick and easy crafts
The kids loved them! I knew the size of them before I ordered, but I wish they were just a little bit larger and that there were 24 scrapers so there would be one for each.

Scratch-Off Crosses
Scratch art is classic, and we put these crosses in our Easter goody bags. Our order was accurate and the crosses in good condition. Just remember--there are only 12 sticks to 24 scratch-offs.

Did you use this for a specific sunday school lesson? I've been asked to provide a "filler" month of activites for children between our Sunday School program year ending and the Summer Sunday school beginning. Trying to find activities for a broad range of ages and then linking up biblical lessons.

Does the black that is scratched off leave a mess on the church pews?

Do you make your own design or do you scratch the entire black off the cross and a design appears?

  • BEST ANSWER: The colored background is just the swirled colors. Scratch off just sections to leave the black-line, stained glass look where you haven't removed it, but those designs are not pre-printed. If kids really want to get creative, I would suggest sketching out maybe with a piece of chalk the parts to be scratched off so they can visualize their design first.
