A little smaller than expected. Gold star has a few defects. Nothing huge, but for little kids is ok.
The star color is not very consistent and has a few defects.

Is it possible to order the "Star Trophies" without the base attached? If not, is it possible to easily remove the start part from the bottom portion?

BEST ANSWER: We are not able to provide just the tops of the trophies. The tops are glued to the top. We cannot be certain they would not break or crack if you tried to pull the tops off of the base.
