BEST ANSWER: I have done other similar projects. As the other person stated, when you peel off the paper it is self-adhesive. The trick is to think it through, and start at the center, peeling only one section at a time, or start on the top and work down so you can slide off the excess sand and have it not stick where you don't want it. If there is a border, as with some of the fish type of projects, for sure save that for last. I also had them work in pairs, one holding and one pouring on the sand. The kids loved them, and it was a great finished product.
