Nice sized lap blanket. Easy peasy
My 13 year old daughter enjoyed doing this. She’s very happy she’s ‘making’ her meemaw a Christmas present. I did one of the Nativity blankets at the same time, took 30 max no biggie

BEST ANSWER: The length of the fringe is included in the 54" x 54". Without the fringe the blanket is 44" x 44".
