Back to School Headband Idea

An easy DIY headband project for students and teachers, this Back to School Headband is a wonderful way to start your school year off with a fun-filled touch. For this project, you will also need a measuring tape.

1. Adhere the white rickrack ribbon around the headband.
2. Cut the measuring tape into strips. Adhere the ends of the strip to the middle of itself to form 2 petals. Repeat to make three 2-petal strips. Adhere the strips together to form a flower.
3. Cut the metal ends off of the measuring tape and adhere them to the bottom of the flower. Adhere the completed flower to the headband.
4. Cut a leaf and apple shape out of felt. Adhere the apple to the middle of the flower. Embellish with buttons.
