1. Follow the directions on the patina paint packaging to paint the starfish charms. Before the paint is cured, use a cloth or scrap of white tissue paper to wipe off the excess patina paint to give a weathered look. Allow time for the paint to dry.
2. Thread a freshwater pearl onto a beaded headpin. With round-nose pliers, form a loop in the headpin after the pearl and trim the excess wire.
3. Open the loop in the ear wire and thread on the pearl and starfish charm. Don’t forget to close the ear wire loop! Repeat for the second earring.
