Great lanterns and superior customer service
These lanterns are well made and easy to put together. They look beautiful hanging outside my house as a Christmas decoration with a candle in them. My first order one of the panels was broken and I just received a replacement of the whole lantern. I would highly recommend ordering from Oriental Trading Company and will be doing it again myself.

Fabulous and fun. Nice quality and can be used through out the year with proper car. Probably not water resistant but who cares. These are just a lovely addition to anyones fall decorations. Have fun with them!!!!

  • BEST ANSWER: Here are the full measurements of the lanterns. The small lantern: Height of the glass is 8 1/2", metal lid is 3 1/2". The total height is 11 1/2" tall with the base 3 1/2" square. The handle is 6 1/2" tall. The large lantern: Height of the glass is 11", metal lid is 4". The base 5" square. The handle is 7"W X 6 1/8" tall.

Is there a reason I couldn't use real candles in theses lanterns? I see several people, as well as description, mention only the flameless candles?
