Great but not suitable for outdoors
This Buddy the Elf cutout is hilarious! You won’t be disappointed with the print quality. Please know Buddy will blow over in the wind. I took off one star for that. It’s not great for outdoors. We moved him inside.

Everybody loves Buddy!
So happy with Buddy! I love that he is weatherproof and life sized enough to make my own and the neighborhood dogs suspicious. If you are using Buddy outside, you'll need to reinforce him. I set Buddy outdoors against a house pillar and kept him in place with stainless steel cable (the narrow, plastic covered kind) around the neck and knees, not noticeable from a couple yards away and had the added benefit of keeping him from being stolen. Shop early. I got him on sale for about $49.

This is definitely waterproof for outside? All others are cardboard.

  • BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is waterproof. I set mine up in my yard and it was rained on a lot and was fine. It is corrugated plastic rather than cardboard. I really love mine!

  • BEST ANSWER: Yes, It is weatherproof. The above comment about reinforcing it is accurate. Mine was set up next to a pillar. I didn't extend the part that makes it stand up, but rather, looped stainless steel cable (the narrow, plastic covered type) around his knees and neck, mostly because I live in a high crime city, but it worked really well for keeping Buddy in place and wasn't noticeable from a couple of yards away.
