Magnets don’t work!
Be careful!! The magnets with these kits are only magnetic on 1 side. I ordered 9 sets of these and had to go through EVERY magnet (108) to help find the magnetic side. They will NOT stick if you put the wrong side out. The jewels were barely sticky enough so I used a large glue dot with each one. Many kits were missing the foam adhesive strip. The clothespin did not stay attached and was flimsy so I eliminated it and just used the sticky strip to attach the wings. See my picture below!

Skip the Clip
My grandson was very excited about these. They were easy to put together except for the clip assembly. I think we may just skip the clip, as the magnet is not that strong to hold much but the clip to the surface. The adhesive strip was bigger/wider than the clip or the magnet, leaving exposed sticky edges. Printed directions would be helpful for assembly.

No magnet and only one jewel
Did not get the magnets at all! Had to go buy them from store! And only one glow jewel for each bug! It is not as shown! I am not very happy!!!

BEST ANSWER: 4 yrs and up. I have seen 3 yr olds put this craft together with minimal help also. I do crafts with my day care children ages 3-5 and this was a favorite!
Does this kit require any glue?

BEST ANSWER: The foam pieces are self adhesive however a little glue may be needed for a stronger bond.
