Great Christmas craft for all ages
We used them at a family night at church. They were easily done with colored pencils. It was a great success oriented activity. I know this will be something these families can take out and display each year.

Wood does not fit together
I was so excited for these, but the wood was not cut out well which made the pieces not fit together. This resulted in the manger and the figures not being able to stand.

First and second graders loved this craft! We used crayons to color it and it looked great. The kids felt like they were really building a stable and then enjoyed playing with the figures, recreating the Christmas story.

What would be best for children to color these so the outlines are still visible? Markers? Colored pencils? What was used in the picture?

  • BEST ANSWER: We used Sharpies. Great bright colors, coloring did not smear, and you could still see the outlines. This was a wonderful craft leading up to Christmas.
