Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colorful and plenty of it! I used this sand to make sand art with a large group of girls. I ordered 3 bags of 4 colors and it was plenty for 50-60 girls. The color is bright and almost sparkly. The price was great too!

Does the color "bleed" if the sand is exposed to water?

I'm planning on doing some sand art between two sheets of glass. I'd like to apply a thin, clear adhesive over each layer to keep the sand from shifting once the art is complete. The adhesive I'd like to use is water-based so, I'm wondering if, with my intended exposure of the sand to the water-based adhesive, will the colors "bleed", therefore, potentially altering the intended design? Thanks, in advancee, for your attention and any information.
Asked by: frankiebe333
Yes, these colors will bleed.
