Not what is pictured
8 puppets are pictured. Since there are 24/bag, I thought there would be 3 sets. There are only 2 Jesus/bag and multiple angels, guards and other assorted characters. There are NOT 3 sets/bag.

Finger puppets
I couldn't tell what all the characters were so here's a clue. There are 2 angels and 4 Romans, 1 Jesus and the others are women and men. All have their arms outstretched so they would bang against each other if they were all on fingers. I just wanted some figures for a playset and they work well for that.

Too Fun!
I was very happy with how cute these finger puppets were. No sharp edges. Good variety in each bag. Colorful and fun. They will be used for quiet activity bags during church.

Great teaching tool
I've had difficulty finding manipulatives that look like Bible characters in the past so when I saw these on the website I was pretty excited to try them. I was even more delighted when they arrived. They're great. We use them in our Pre-Kindergarten Bible to act out Bible stories, although we don't actually wear them on our fingers. They work great for other stories besides just the resurrection. For example, when I teach the baptism of Jesus I give each child two characters (one for John the Baptist and one for Jesus). I bring a basin of water and let the kids take turns acting out how John immersed Jesus. They enjoy using them. These were a good purchase.

Not what I thought I was getting
The picture is very misleading. I thought there would be three or four complete sets. Only 2 Jesus and 8 soldiers. I wanted them for my Sunday school class so that each child could tell the story of Jesus on one their hands. There were 24 pieces, but you don’t have 12 fingers on a set of hands.

Are these finger puppets a vinyl plyable material, or more of a firm non plyable plastic or rubber?

  • BEST ANSWER: Not sure what kind of plastic it is. I can squeeze it pretty easily, but they do not fit in a regular sized easter egg. The arms are too wide. If you tape the egg shut they might stay. It's not as soft as silicone, but not a hard plastic.
