quality has sunk
i have ordered a bunch of these and their other ceramic bowls... They are inexpensive but the quality has gone down a lot. Not sure if they switched suppliers or what but won't be ordering for a while. I have to trash about 1/4 of each box.

Perfect “trinket dishes” as a craft/take home item!
These were for my daughters mermaid birthday party and they were perfect “trinket dishes” for the girls to paint and take home with them. We used acrylic paint and I bought some clear spray paint to seal them. Everyone loved them!

These ceramic shells came out really pretty.
I ordered 24 ceramic shells to use as a craft in Assisted Living. So far I had our memory care residents paint some and they really enjoyed themselves. After the paint dried on the shells we spray painted a clear acrylic and that gave them a beautiful shine. My residents were really delighted with the end results.

BEST ANSWER: You would receive 12 total shells.StaffFebruary 17th, 2022Staff
Can I pour hot wax inside these?

BEST ANSWER: You should be able to, if you're pouring at candle-making temps. They're nice and sturdy, thick bottomed. We painted ours with pearlescent paint to use as ring holders as a giveaway for my siren/selkie themed book release, but I was impressed by the quality of them. The ceramic is nice and heavy, so I think they'd hold up to normal candlemaking temperatures quite well.
Can these be glazed and then fired in the kiln? If so, to what cone?
