Fun and Easy Craft Project
We bought these to do as a craft for our child's art-themed birthday party. It was the second craft we did, and it was nice that they were able to customize them and put their names on them. The children could spend as much or as little time as they wanted decorating them, and then spend some time outside playing while everyone else was still decorating, so that was great! Playing with them became kind of an intermediate activity while we were getting the candles figured out. The gliders are made of regular craft foam. They are easy to pop out and easy to assemble. No glue or scissors needed. The adults did have to help with assembling the plane itself, as the holes were quite tight, and one child did break his plane when he tried to do it himself. (We had extras, don't worry). If they weren't that tight though, they wouldn't fly at all, so I don't know there is anything to do about that. They do glide after a fashion, and with a little tweaking they might do better, but don't expect super awesome flying powers or anything. The children still had a lot of fun playing with them.

Lots of fun
I purchased these planes as an art project for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. They are very easy to assemble, and the kids had a blast flying them (indoors). They don't fly so well, but the kids still had a good time with them.

Disappointed preschoolers!
I purchased two sets of the planes for my son's preschool end of the year party since they were fairly gender neutral. The quality of the product was less than I hoped for. The foam is not thick enough to even keep the wings straight, so the kids couldn't get their little planes to fly at all. It was also difficult to get the pieces ready to be put together. They did not separate easily (and this comes from adults doing this, not the preschool kids). The planes look cute, but the kids were disappointed that they could not fly them, which was the overall point.

cute, a bit a prep though
The stickers come in sheets and were a bit hard to get out of the outer "molding" without tearing. I went ahead and took them all out myself then just had them in a bowl so all the kids had to do was take off the backing and apply. Pretty cute little planes though
