Perfect
These are perfect sized snow globes for our Girl Scout project. Also please use E-6000 glue for your figurines or if you need to seal the lid on. Other glues will not hold up!!

leaked
Leaked horribly! Had to get my carpenter husband to seal them with something from his workshop! 2 out of 12 worked. First tried hot glue and that didn't hold at all!

Fun for kids
Purchased this item for a Kindergarten holiday party craft. Snow globes were well built, but once we added water they did leak a bit. Ended up doing dry snow globes, and it was a huge hit with the kids.

Poor value, not for use as a snow globe
These are NOT snow globes. They are NOT water tight. I tried to seal then with hot glue. Every single one leaked. Very poor value.

Fun project, worked well 92% of the time
These were super fun to make! We ordered 18 dozen and ended up with about 1 per dozen that were faulty in some way (expert for one pckage where four of the dozen didn’t work.) User error is a slight problem too - if any glitter or small sequins get in the track of the lid it won’t stay sealed anymore. Gary at Customer Service was great when we reordered and included a free dozen to make up for the faulty ones. For the price these were a great buy and the kids had an absolute ball making them. I would just advise people buy an extra dozen than they think they will need in case a few don’t work.

Can you use clear glue to make in the snow globe? If so how much of it?
olani C. | June 19th, 2020
  • BEST ANSWER: Hi Olani! You will want to use water for the liquid in the snow globe, just add the embellishments that you want to have shaking around in there! You can use a clear glue to secure the lid and make the item more leakproof if desired.
