Good Eggs
These eggs are a nice size and solid. I like that they are a bit long and narrow. They worked perfectly for applying words I made with my Cricut.

The ARE truly Wonderful Wooden Eggs
Our Community in AZ has a brunch on Easter. I am the Centerpiece creator for events. I don’t like plastic eggs. I opened up an Egg Decorating Tea for up to ten people. 12 came, but staggered. Such lovely, imaginative work people did! The eggs we really easy to use and if we had 6 more dozen, we could have finished them too! The egg surface worked best with permanent markers but also paint, decoupage, stickers, ink, tissue. This is one heck of a great product and I will purchase again. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Always handy
I have purchased in the past and received nearly all perfect eggs. With the recent ones, I was not so lucky. They were useable but not as nice as the ones in the past.

Wonderful
We used these eggs to create our own Faberge eggs since we were studying Russia. These were perfect and the kids had a wonderful time decorating. Unfortunately, a few eggs were cracked when we got them. But, we will definitely buy again for class next year.

Awesome
I initially bought these because my family is vegan and my kids were invited to an egg painting party and I didn't want them being left out. All of the other children wanted the wooden eggs rather than the real eggs. I just love that you have them as a keepsake! It's fun to bring them out each year and remember who painted which ones and have them to remind us of how much our kids have grown. I purchase a dozen or 2 each year now and just add to the collection. Wonderful!! Some eggs are cracked, but overall I was very happy with the purchase. we actually incorporated the crack into the painting :)

Do these fit nicely into your wooden egg cups? Can I wrap, glue & varnish washi tape around the eggs and place them in the wooden holders?

  • BEST ANSWER: The diameter of the egg cup is 1 3/4" and the the wooden eggs are 1 7/16"W. You should be able to decorate them as described.
