Sparkle like the sea with this sweet starfish DIY craft idea! It's easy to make handmade jewelry with a little chain, a few acrylic beads and a metal charm. These beautiful blue earrings will make a splash anywhere you wear them! Accent your summer wardrobe with this elegant yet playful accessory. It's perfect to wear to the beach or around town!1. Begin by preparing your chains. Count 8 links up your chain and, using your jewelry tools, open the last link to remove the piece from the large chain. Close the link back up after you have removed the 8-link piece. Repeat this process to make another 8-link piece. Count out and remove two 6-link pieces and two 10-link pieces.2. Open a 6mm jump ring and slide the end of one 8-link chain piece, one 10-link chain piece and one 6-link chain piece onto it. Attach the jump ring to the bottom of one of the earring wires and close the jump ring.3. Open a small charm loop and attach it to a blue enamel starfish charm and one 6mm jump ring. Close the charm loop. Open the jump ring and attach it to the top link of the 10-link chain piece. Close the jump ring.4. Slide a metal spacer bead and a large oval teal acrylic bead onto a headpin. Make a loop in the wire using jewelry pliers and attach it to the end of the 10-link chain piece. Trim excess wire.5. Slide an aquamarine crystal bead onto a headpin. Make a loop in the wire using jewelry pliers and attach it to the end of the 8-link chain. Trim excess wire.6. Slide a clear crystal bead onto a headpin. Make a loop in the wire using jewelry pliers and attach it to the end of the 6-link chain piece. Trim excess wire.7. Repeat steps 2-6 to make the second earring.
