Not What They're CRACKED Up to Be!
I've purchased egg shakers from OT before with success. For some reason, they've begun selling actual Easter Eggs with approximately 4 tiny, plastic beads inside and glue together with Elmer's. THESE ARE HORRIBLE. I'm ashamed to used them in my music classroom - Kindergarten will break them the first day, I'm sure. One even arrived broken - that's why I know there are 4 small plastic beads inside.

Cheap, flimsy shakers
I had ordered these maybe 6 years ago from Oriental Trading and they were great little egg shakers. Needed to purchase them again. I read the reviews, saw that they had gone down in quality. But I saw it said that they had been improved based on reviews. Also, the latest review was very positive. So, I took a chance and purchased them... and immediately returned them. They are very cheap plastic, maybe a little better than the cheap Easter eggs. I think they would break very quickly in little hands. Very few beads/beans/shakey things in them. There are better egg shakers out there for the money. Even if you have to pay more, I would not recommend these!

I used to always buy these egg shakers for my two year old classroom. The children enjoyed clicking them together for one of our favorite songs. The ones I just purchased are terrible. I will have to find another company to buy my egg shakers from

wonderful toy/music instrument
This is the best toy or musical instrument It is great for all ages Putting them in Easter egg hunt for my grandchildren who range in age from 1 year to 10 year old.

Eggs Lacking "Shakers"
I was disappointed in the amount of "shaker" in the shakers! A couple of them made some noise, but most of the 36 I purchased, barely had any shakers in them. In fact it sounded as though they may only have one or two little beads in them--they barely make any noise at all. The kids did not like them.

Egg Shakers
It is priced right! Unfortunately, there aren't enough beads inside to make a decent sound. The "glue" that holds the egg together looks like it will come apart easily. We will see if they can last long! :)

When the semester is over,I give them each a bag with assorted "props" from the songs we sing. I am so disappointed in the quality of the egg shakers that I bought at the beginning of this semester. They either opened up immediately, the glue did it hold them together, and the rice or beans that Are Inside do not make hardly any noise. My question to you is.......are you going to get the egg shakers that you had before? They were wonderful and lasted throughout the semester, even after the daily use of two year olds. I want to order them do the children's good bye bags in June, but I do not want to throw money away, on an item that will fall a part Immediately.
