While the size is listed in the product description, they are smaller than I imaged. They are also described as cardstock, which maybe I would consider that is what they are made of. Some of the other reviewer's images are too cute but I'm disappointed, as I'll have to make due with what I've got and have no time to return these gift boxes.

Great for cookies!

I go through lots of these boxes every year! Lined with waxed paper they are the perfect vehicle for cookies! I put stickers on them for the Fourth of July and birthdays. They are the perfect size!! I can get between 12 and 20 cookies, depending on size. They are meant for one-time use. We all rely on fireplaces for heat, so we just burn them after using.

Falls Apart

Over half of the boxes ordered completely fell apart. The adhesive used to stick the sides of the boxes together was poorly stuck together. I had to throw away over half of the order due to their being unusable.

How much weight can each box handle?

BEST ANSWER: The boxes are made of a medium weight cardboard, we have not tested as to how much weight they can handle. The size of box is 6 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 6".
