These pinwheels are super adorable. The easiest way to get them attached is by pinching the straw to insert them into the other half. Great price too considering there's 36.

Stick too wide
I should of read the reviews before I purchased. They are horrible to get the sticks attached to the pinwheel. The sticks have to really be shoved in and then the plastic gets all bent in and I really hurt my fingers doing so. They are colored the way they are shown, hot pink stick and more pale pinwheel. Cute but not easy to work with.

Stakes provided are not compatible with the pinwheels
I purchased two sets of flamingo pinwheels and was dismayed that the plastic sticks/stakes provided do not fit into the holes at the bottom of the pinwheel. I will be contacting your Customer Service department to arrange for return/refund.

Color off, poor quality
The color on the actual pinwheel is not hot pink as shown in the picture. It'svery pale shade of pink with a barely visible flamingo. The straws that are the stick part of the pinwheel, are hot pink (don't match), and they have to be inserted into the pinwheel. The straws did not fit into the base of the pinwheel!! I had to use a sharp scissor to carve out some plastic from each pinwheel base to get the straw to fit, for 36 pinwheels! I should have returned, but didn't want to pay more shipping.

  • BEST ANSWER: The pinwheels are plastic so the weather would not bother them. We agree with placing the pinwheels in a flower pot as an accent to the yard. The plastic straws are slightly difficult to place in the yard itself.
