Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better! I was delighted with these cards and beads. From the picture I thought they would be more like the lacing cards (which were also excellent). The star shaped glow-in-the-dark beads were a hit with the kids. The slightly challenging activity of stringing them on the pipe cleaners was perfect for the intermediate grade kiddos. This made for a wonderfully fun study of constellations!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good idea The pictures and notes about the number of stars in each constellation were very helpful when working with younger kids. The only drawback was that the pipe cleaners were cut too short to make some of the constellations and joining two together was difficult for kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cards & pieces My son loves learning about astronomy, so he loves looking through these cards & trying to find them in the sky. This was great for his Tiger Cub Scout adventure, too!

Are these reusable if different students to use?

How many?

How many chenille stems and glow in the dark beads are included in the kit? I have 32 students and I would like for each one to be able to make at least two constellations to take home. How many kits would I need to purchase?
Asked by: emjkav
there were probably about 75 chenille stems. and about 100 + stars. some of the constellations require 18-25 starseach, and others only 5 or six. some of the constellations require the use of more that one chenille stem. You could limit which constellations you let kids make. Hope this helps answer you question
